Usage Description

Required when the invoice is sent via email (SMTP).

Description

The technical final receiver address. Currently only used for email (SMTP).

In Germany it is also allowed to transmit e-invoices via email (SMTP).
Only in this case the Receiver Details extension is used to provide the email address of the specific final invoice receiver.
In case the invoice is sent via the Peppol network do not use Receiver Details and use the Buyer Electronic Address /Invoice/cac:AccountingCustomerParty/cac:Party/cbc:EndpointID instead.
